Glenwood Canyon bike path closed due to high water

June 2, 2015 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Currently closed from Shoshone to Hanging Lake and Bair Ranch to Siloam Springs.

GARFIELD/EAGLE COUNTY – Due to warmer temperatures this week and rising water, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in the interest of safety, has closed the Glenwood Canyon bike path in two locations.  The path is closed from Shoshone power plant to Hanging Lake rest area and Bair Ranch to Siloam Springs. CDOT crews will continue to monitor the path daily.

Cyclists and pedestrians interested in utilizing the path should frequently check the CDOT website for updates. In order to maintain pathway safety, CDOT reminds cyclists and pedestrians to please obey all warning and closure signs.  Cooperation from all users is greatly appreciated.
