Governor commemorates Completion of I-25 Widening

November 3, 2014 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, along with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) celebrated the completion of the Interstate 25 Widening Project between Colorado Springs and Monument today.

Westbound US 36 Off-Ramp to McCaslin Closed this Weekend

November 6, 2014 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - LOUISVILLE/SUPERIOR – As part of the US 36 Express Lanes Project, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the westbound US 36 off-ramp to McCaslin Boulevard starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 through 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10.

Scheduled Opening of State Highway 103 Bridge Delayed

November 7, 2014 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Clear Creek County – After three months of construction, the Eastbound I-70 Peak Period Shoulder Lane (PPSL) project is well underway, with a projected completion by fall 2015.

Ramp metering work begins tomorrow

November 10, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – Starting Tuesday, Nov. 11, the Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a ramp metering project at various locations throughout the Denver metro area.

CDOT Upgrades Traffic/Weather Cameras throughout State

November 12, 2014 - ENHANCED TRAVELER INFORMATION - Statewide Transportation Plan - STATEWIDE – The Colorado Department of Transportation has installed a new traffic and weather camera at the T-junction of US 24 and US 285 at Johnson Village (just south of Buena Vista) today, as part of a $1.01 million project to upgrade the Department’s traveler communications network.
