Two Lanes of Southbound I-25 to Close Tonight Near Broomfield

June 3, 2013 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - CDOT to repair bridge deck and expansion joints.

BROOMFIELD/WELD COUNTIES — Tonight, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the two right lanes of southbound I-25 near mile marker 231 north of Broomfield and State Highway 7 so maintenance crews can make bridge deck and expansion joint repairs.

Work will begin at 9 p.m. tonight and will last until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. With two of the three lanes of the interstate closed, major delays are expected and alternate routes are strongly advised. The speed limit will be reduced through the work zones, and CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.
