I-70 Surface Upgrade Underway between Vail Pass & Jeffco

October 2, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - SUMMIT/CLEAR CREEK/JEFFERSON COUNTIES – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is crack sealing Interstate 70, requiring overnight lane closures at various locations along the 62-mile segment between the top of Vail Pass and Chief Hosa, just east of Evergreen Parkway (State Highway 74).

Full Closure of I-25 in Denver for Presidential Debate Begins in Approximately Four Hours

October 3, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER— The countdown to the 2012 Presidential Debate and the full closure of I-25 in Denver has begun. In approximately four hours, six miles of Interstate 25 will be closed in both directions from the Santa Fe Drive (US 85) interchange to the Hampden Avenue (US 285) interchange from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

October 4, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Lane closures and traffic stops will be taking place on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill next week for rock mitigation work and fencing installation, weather permitting.

Yale Avenue Bridge Over I-225 Reopens Two Months Early

October 5, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - AURORA—The Yale Avenue bridge over I-225 is now open to traffic nearly two months ahead of schedule following bridge reconstruction. The bridge was originally scheduled to reopen in early December 2012, but the contractor, SEMA Construction Co. was able to complete the bridge ahead of schedule.

October 16, 2012 - Northwest Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has finished resurfacing work on the Vail Pass recreation path from Bighorn Road in east Vail to the top of Vail Pass.
