I-25 Closure at Woodmen Road Next Week

June 10, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing Interstate 25 at Woodmen Road early next week, allowing a new sign structure to be erected across the highway.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14, all lanes of northbound I-25 will be closed at Woodmen Road.  All traffic will detour via the off- and on-ramp, with the traffic signals adjusted to provide additional “green” time for the northbound traffic traveling through the intersection at the bottom of the ramp.   Some slowing should be expected, primarily from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All lanes of northbound I-25 will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
